Obverse

On the reverse face of these coins, you will see the Grim Reaper with his famous scythe emerging from behind a group of headstones. The skeletal figure is wearing his signature hooded robe.

In the background, you will see a full moon shining bright in the night sky. Bats are flying around a tree with no leaves. Each of the four headstones in the image bear the letters RIP. The year of issue is engraved in Roman numerals: MMXVII. These are the Roman numerals for 2017.

Reverse

The reverse face of each 2017 1 oz Silver Monarch Grim Reaper Round features engravings of the rounds weight, purity, and metal content. You can also see the Reaper walking away from a graveyard.
